    1. Product Introduction - 5.7” TFT High Brightness Modules  

The inquiry for TFT sunlight readable is getting more popular. RAYSTAR released below two 5.7” TFT modules with high luminance performance to fit for sunlight readable application.
 
►RFC57AD-AIW-D 
►RFC57AE-AIW-D

The minimum luminance of the existing TFT standard RFC57AD and RFC57AE modules is around 350 cd/m2, the above new two models are featured with minimum luminance 800 cd/m2. Below are the specification of the new backlight as reference. More details, please contact with RAYSTAR sales rep.
 
►Driver board dimension:12.5mm x 3mm x1.8 mm
►LED Backlight interface:10 dices in 5 LED Serial, 2 LED Parallel
►Electronical characteristics per LED dice:3.0~3.6V/60~65mA
►Power Supply Voltage:15~18V
►Supply Current :120~130mA

 

    

 

 

 

   2. SANYO IC 6324 EOL Notice - 2

RE: SANYO IC 6324 EOL Notice 2
Due to the previous flooding in Thailand, SANYO plans to phase out some items which including the Sanyo 6324 quad operational amplifier IC (RAYSTAR IC part no.:ICLLTLME251XXXXXXX00). RAYSTAR released Sanyo 6324 EOL Notice and announced replaced IC is Globaltech GS324 (RAYSTAR IC part no.: ICGS324S151XXXXXXX00) on Feb. 21, 2012.

Since the lead-time for the new IC GS324 is longer than our expectation and can not make our production arrangement smoothly to fulfill the customer’s delivery, therefore, we tested and approved another replacement IC BCD AS324 (RAYSTAR IC part no.: ICAS324M151XXXXXXX00).

We have completed the necessary tests and guarantee the electronical characteristics for the new IC AS324 is the same as Sanyo 6324. More details, please contact with RAYSTAR sales rep. or mail to sales@raystar-optronics.com Thank you for your understanding.

Electronical Characteristics:
The electronical characteristics for the Sanyo 6324 IC and BCD AS324 IC are the same. Below link is the test result and IC data sheets as reference.

Appearance:

The appearance of the Sanyo 6324 and Globaltech GS324 might be a little different. But the pin numbers and the electronical characteristics are the same.  Please check the below IC photos as comparison.
